I Love YOUR SITE. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PRESERVING THIS TRADTION. MY GRANDMOTHER AND GREAT GRANDMOTHER CAME FROM HUNGARY. THESE TRADITIONS MUST NOT BE LOST.

I'm getting a tattoo in memory of my grandmother Margaret Demeter. I would spend endless hours watching her embroider amazing costumes and things for her church. I will be getting one her hand drawn stencils tattooed like she's embroidered my skin.

I visited your beautiful city of Budapest in November 2007. It was a wonderful day with a vivid blue sky and brilliant sun light. Had "death by chocolate" at the Meridian, wandered around and took many pictures, and just enjoyed your city.

I really liked your website and its story of Hungarian needlework, especially the historical aspects of it. The color pictures were beautiful. As a silk embroiderer myself, I can appreciate your desire to document and preserve this heritage.

Your site offers beautiful, high quality, hand-crafted items. It reminds me of the items my Mother made and brings back many wonderful memories of her. This, for the most part is a lost art and one to be treasured for generations to come.

I was delighted to find this site. My grandmother was born in Mezökövesd and I was fortunate to visit Mezökövesd in 2004. It brings tears to my eyes as I write to you. God bless you all and I wish you the best with your website.
